You will be working as a Service Sales Specialist and will be the part of Motion Business Area for Motors and Generators Division based in Muscat, Oman. In this role you will be reporting to the Local Business Area Manager and will be responsible for accelerating and expanding Motion business in Oman with end users, EPCs, OEMs and partners based on quick and reliable support, digital tools etc. You will also responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to maintain market leadership in Motion.
Developing strategic sales plan for Motion business (Drives, Motors, MPTs and PLCs) for allocated customers.
Identifying customer installed base and identify issues faced by customer and key decision makers at customer organization, so that proactive solutions can be implemented.
Identifying new projects from beginning and start working with end users and consultants to influence the requirement towards ABB solution.
Generating enquiries for complete Motion Portfolio through proactive sales and generating orders so that the target can be achieved for each year.
Implementing group sales strategies for ensuring accurate forecasting of the orders.
Ensuring that all commercial and legal aspects are considered during finalization of orders to ensure that ABB’s risk is minimized.
Participating in regular sales reviews and supporting the team to achieve their targets.
Promoting digitalization solutions and energy efficiency pitch for drives and motors.
Promoting preventive maintenance and reconditioning for drives and motors.
Mapping complete installed base to ensure that more than 90% of installed base is allotted to site.
Visiting customer, study the technical specification and submit offers for ABB as well as non-ABB replacements.
Organizing customized technical events to improve ABB’s acceptability with end users.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as service sales engineer for Drives, Motors, PLCs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
