Job Description

You will be working as Service Sales & Operations Lead and will be a part of the Electrification Business Area for EL Global Markets Division based in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will be reporting to EL Manager and you will be implementing service strategy and driving service sales business growth locally at the respective local unit level. You will be leading the service engineering team and will be responsible for achieving the sales, revenue, EBIT (Earnings before Interest & taxes) and OCF (Operating cash flow) to achieve performance targets for service business and optimizing the utilization of service resources.

Your responsibilities

Service strategy or service sales - Driving implementation of the service strategy and service sales business of Electrification (EL). Ensuring corresponding plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other Divisions or hub. Taking care of service sales activities and proactively promoting Digital offering.

Performance Targets - Driving, implementing, reporting and monitoring performance targets as part of the local unit (sales orders, financials, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.) for service activity.

Service Delivery – Performing day to day service business ensuring profitable growth and improvement of service productivity. Implementing agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction.

Customer Approach - Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction and retention together with sales. Supporting sales resources in customer meetings. Driving consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback (Net Promoter Score (NPS)).

Operational Excellence - Investing in improving the quality of existing service products and developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction.

People Leadership and Development - Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates. Improving service availability, providing training and developing capabilities and competencies. Ensuring use of SFDC (Salesforce) tool for all sales opportunities or visit reports.

Assisting group service market research or analysis or service initiatives. Identifying and generating new opportunities for service through proactive sales and marketing in Oman.

Determining service potential of existing and potential customers. Supporting implementation of service care products and advanced services for key customers in Oman. Reporting monthly and quarterly order intakes and ensuring orders are in line or exceeding set monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for Oman. Promoting cross divisional service contracts and advanced services. Preparing technical submittals and proposal formation to customers in coordination with local service product responsible and global service product responsible units. Ensuring implementation of service portfolio locally. Reporting monthly and quarterly order intakes and ensuring orders are in line or exceeding set monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for Oman.

Job Specification

Your background

A bachelor’s degree Electrical and Electronics.

Minimum 10 years of exp in service sales and operations out of which at least 5 years of people management experience.

Should be a good team player, solutions oriented and analytic thinker.

Required strong customer management and negotiation skills.

Required strong leadership and communication skill.
