As an Oracle Apex with Java Script Developer you will be responsible for the day to day development and support of the Oracle Apex Tools environment and installed products. You will work with the development leads to develop and support stable and qualitative Oracle Apex solutions. The Oracle Apex with java script developer will report directly to the Development Lead.
The Oracle Apex with java script Developer is part of the Oracle Development team to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. The Oracle Apex developer provides supports where needed and assists in the integration of new IT solutions.
Utilizing Oracle Apex built in features such as pages, regions, items, lists, tabs, lovs and other applications items: designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs. Develops critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security rules, infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, database interaction and application interfaces. Must implement industry best business practices, Social Insurance, and information assurance policies regarding system coding, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop, Maintain the Oracle Apex application through upgrades and patches
- Develop, Maintain integration and security of web services
- Assist with implementation of new Oracle Apex applications
- Provide support for Apex with Java Scripts
- Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring of Oracle Apex environment
- Document Oracle Apex solutions
- Test and update Oracle Apex solutions on new Oracle Apex releases
Job Specification
Desired Skills
- Good skills and knowledge of the Oracle Apex with ORDS platform
- Experience in XML, JSON, JavaScript, Java, CSS, PLSQL, SOAP, REST, HTML
- Have knowledge on web services (SOAP, Restful)
- Web and Internet programming concepts
- Experience in TOAD
- Being able to analyze business/functional requirements
- Proactive, client oriented, result oriented, ‘can do’ mentality
- Able to clearly document the requirements with flow using MS Visio
- Fluent in English
