What you’ll be doing
Harvest Island Trading LLC has served Oman’s agricultural and veterinary sectors since 1998, supplying products and professional support to animal health and farming customers. Based in Muscat, the company is seeking a Veterinary Doctor to provide clinical guidance and contribute to high standards of animal care.
The role will involve assessing animal health, recommending treatment plans, advising customers and livestock owners, and supporting the responsible use of veterinary products. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to understand animal-health needs and provide practical, accurate solutions.

- Conduct clinical assessments and identify common veterinary conditions.
- Develop and explain suitable treatment, prevention, vaccination, and care plans.
- Provide professional guidance on veterinary medicines, supplies, dosage, storage, and safe use.
- Maintain clear consultation, treatment, and product-related records.
- Support customers with livestock and animal-health questions in a professional manner.
- Stay informed about veterinary practices, product updates, and relevant regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal anatomy, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
- Ability to assess animal health and recommend appropriate clinical interventions.
- Practical understanding of veterinary pharmaceuticals, dosage, contraindications, and safe handling.
- Clear communication skills for explaining treatment and product guidance to customers and animal owners.
- Sound record-keeping, organization, and attention to clinical detail.
- Professional judgment, ethical conduct, and commitment to animal welfare.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with sales, technical, and operational teams.
- Comfort working with agricultural and veterinary products in a customer-focused environment.
