Dubizzle Oman, an integral part of the Dubizzle Group is now looking to hire an experienced Videographer to join its team. As the Videographer for Dubizzle Oman, you will play a crucial role in capturing, editing, and publishing high-quality videos that engage, inform, and resonate with our audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand video requirements and objectives, translating ideas into compelling video stories.
- Utilize creativity and artistic techniques to convey a story or provide information visually.
- Record and capture high-quality video footage, ensuring exceptional visual and audio quality.
- Edit and post-produce videos, applying creative editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across all video content.
- Manage video equipment and resources, including cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and editing software.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video production, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Coordinate and schedule video shoots, managing timelines and resources effectively.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and formats to maximize reach and engagement.
- Maintain an organized library of video assets, ensuring easy accessibility for the team.
- Possess the ability to work as both a videographer and a photographer.
- Should be comfortable working individually from brief to execution and collaborating with content creators, designers, and animators on the same project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or a related discipline with 3 years of experience
- Additional certifications in video production, editing, or related areas are a plus.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
- Experience with various camera equipment, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and professional video cameras.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with current industry trends and emerging technologies in videography.
- Strong time-management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and driven by results, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
